What's left behind the scenes
- Based on Michael Ebmeier's novel "The Newcomer".
- The film was shot in Murmansk, not Kemerovo. This is visible from the sign when showing a general view of the city and from the car license plates that often appear in the frame.
- When the flight map is shown, the route continues to Yakutia after Novosibirsk, although Kemerovo is only 300 km further east.
- Holger says that all space debris falls in Kemerovo, although in reality it falls in the Altai region.
