- To make it easier for Farrah Fawcett to film the “nudity” scene in the fountain, director Robert Altman (1925-2006) demanded that everyone be removed from the set except himself, the cinematographer, and the person responsible for sound recording. To everyone's surprise, the actress stated that she was not embarrassed at all and refused to film without the rest of the crew. Everyone returned, she performed the scene, and it all ended with long applause in her honor.
