- Paul Kay is not a fan of dance music. When the actor needed to be wearing headphones according to the plot, he listened to punk rock.
- The film was advertised as a biographical story about deaf DJ Frankie Wilde, but it is not based on real events. The film is also not based on the story of DJ Pete Tong.
