What's left behind the scenes
- The film is entirely composed of footage from other films. Over the three years it took to produce, many versions were created, with the final version using footage from 450 films and television series.
- To avoid copyright issues, the film was declared an educational material.
- The filmmakers did not use footage from more than two films by any single director. However, director György Pálfi proved to be a passionate fan of David Lynch and used footage from more than two of his idol's films.
