What's left behind the scenes
- The footage was originally intended for Michael Jackson's personal collection. The creative team for the concert tour also planned to analyze the material for potential changes to a future tour that never materialized.
- During Michael Jackson's performances of "Thriller," "Smooth Criminal," and "Earth Song," a large 3D screen is activated. It was planned to operate throughout the entire concert.
- Throughout almost the entire film, Michael Jackson sings softly, conserving his energy for the performance. On at least two occasions, he explains this to the technicians and producers, who claim they cannot adjust the equipment for vocals at such a low volume. Jackson only sings at full volume at the end of "The Way You Make Me Feel."
