What's left behind the scenes

  • When Santa and Lucy first enter the room of glass balls, the head of the film's director, Michael Lembeck, can be seen in one of them (right before the characters leave the room).
  • Jack Frost's song "North Pole, North Pole" is a parody of Frank Sinatra's (1915-1998) composition "New York, New York" (1979).
  • The answer to the math problem in the film is: 3 hours.
  • This is the only film in the franchise without the elf Bernard. The actor who played him, David Kramholz, was busy filming the series "Numbers" (2005-2010). In Bernard's absence, the elf Curtis became Santa's main assistant.
  • Jack Frost's song "North Pole, North Pole" is a parody of Frank Sinatra's (1915-1998) composition "New York, New York" (1979).
