Idea

What's left behind the scenes

  • At the beginning of the film, Usman and François (played by Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte, respectively) come to André Marcon's character with the news that his wife has been killed. The building where the scene takes place (here a restaurant) was also used in the comedy "Intouchables" (2011) by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano, where Sy played Driss. Nakache and Toledano's comedy was filmed more than a year before David Charon’s, but the building looks completely unchanged, down to the pictures on the walls inside and the ornamental shrubs outside.
