What's left behind the scenes
- Director and screenwriter Adam Robitel, along with special effects supervisor Vincent J. Guastini, deliberately cut down the transformation scenes, believing this would add to the realism of what was happening on screen.
- When the control panel of Deborah Logan (played by Jill Larson) explodes, the image of what she has become appears on screen for a fraction of a second.
- Approximately half an hour into the film, the main character sits at a piano and slowly turns her head towards the camera, after which the screen goes dark. For a moment, Deborah's face takes on the guise of the entity that has possessed her soul and body.
