What's left behind the scenes

  • In the 'Magnetic Rose' segment, upon arriving at the abandoned station, Miguel says to his partner Heinz: 'Who will we meet? A girl or a tiger?' This phrase is a reference to Frank R. Stockton's story 'The Lady, or the Tiger?', which describes the idea of a fair trial where the accused chooses one of two doors, not knowing what is behind them, but knowing that behind one door is a beautiful girl, and behind the other is a hungry tiger.
