What's left behind the scenes
- The first day of filming for the project was September 19, 2007.
- The final day of filming was December 4, 2007.
- Victoria Beckham was offered a small role in the film, but she had to decline due to the Spice Girls' busy tour schedule.
- Filming took place in the same studio as the original series—Silvercup Studios in Queens.
- The online auction eBay put two tickets to the film premiere, as well as a meeting with Kristin Davis, up for bidding. This prize went to a woman from Japan, who offered the highest amount – just over 33,000 euros.
- When Carrie and John are shown an apartment, they are first shown an option on the 33rd floor, then they take the elevator to see the penthouse, but the button panel indicates that the building only has 16 floors and a penthouse.
- For the wedding, Carrie leaves the house in white pumps, which then turn into gold sandals.
- Carrie demonstrates a dress during a home fashion show. The door behind her is alternately open and closed.
