What's left behind the scenes
- The film's nomination for the Italian National Film Award "David di Donatello" in the category of "Best Original Screenplay" caused confusion among both critics and audiences, as director Donato Carrisi based the film on his own novel, first published in 2015. Carrisi had to explain that the screenplay was technically original, as it was written before the novel, even though the film was shot later. However, the final credits of the film stated that it was based on the novel of the same name from 2015.
