What's left behind the scenes
- The film features a slightly modified Toyota Fortuner SUV, based on the mid-size Toyota Hilux pickup truck, which is marketed in South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
- On the street, you can notice a billboard for a non-existent sequel to the thriller 'The Neighbor' (2009), directed by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat. Cohn directed 'Trapped,' and he wrote the screenplay for 'Trapped' with Duprat.
- The central idea of the plot was borrowed from a similar case in Brazil in 2016. The hijacker found himself locked inside the car he was attempting to steal, as the security system cut off the power inside the vehicle, turning it into a trap.
