What's left behind the scenes
- Initially, Mel Gibson was considered for one of the leading roles.
- Terence Young, the director of the first three James Bond films, was slated to direct the film, and it would have been Young and Connery's first reunion in 30 years. However, Terence passed away during pre-production.
- During the final battle, the swords of Lancelot and Magalant were replaced with computer-generated imagery to ensure the actors' safety and allow for faster strikes and parries.
