What's left behind the scenes
- Shortly before starting work on this film, actress Renate Reinsve decided to quit acting and become a carpenter (she had recently finished renovating a house with wood and was now impressed by carpentry work). The day after she finally decided to leave the film industry, Norwegian director Joachim Trier unexpectedly showed up at her place, and they had a long conversation on a variety of topics. Reinsve and Trier last worked together in 2011 on the film "Oslo, August 31st," where Reinsve had only one line, and even that was in a minor scene. It turns out that Trier later used this lengthy conversation to write the screenplay for the drama "The Worst Person in the World" (2021), with the intention of casting Reinsve in the lead role.
