What's left behind the scenes
- This is Kurt Wimmer's first film after the science fiction action film “Ultraviolet” (2006). The director and screenwriter Wimmer stepped away from work for many years due to “creative differences” with studio management.
- The black and white television broadcast at the beginning of the film is an episode, “It's a Good Life,” from the third season of “The Twilight Zone” (1959-1964) about a child with incredible abilities who takes the population of an entire city hostage, sending dissenters to the “cornfield”.
