What's left behind the scenes
- The film was rushed into production because Dimension Films was about to lose the rights to the "Children of the Corn" franchise. The previous film, "Children of the Corn: Revelation" (Guy Magar, 2001), was filmed ten years earlier, and the 2009 television film "Children of the Corn" was not produced by Dimension Films at all; it was simply an adaptation of the original literary source – the short story of the same name by Stephen King from 1977.
