What's left behind the scenes

  • The book Frank gave to his secretary to read is titled "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" by Seth Grahame-Smith, and is based on Jane Austen's famous novel.
  • The documentary is about Charles Whitman (1941-1966), who barricaded himself at the top of the University of Texas Tower and opened fire on passersby on the street. Whitman left a note stating that something was wrong with him and requesting an autopsy. The autopsy revealed that, unlike the film's protagonist, Whitman did indeed have an astrocytoma, and was therefore not responsible for his actions.
