What's left behind the scenes
- Some scenes were filmed abroad. Trips to distant countries proved impossible due to the coronavirus pandemic, so filming crews for location shooting were stationed in four countries – the USA, France, Iceland, and Colombia.
- The film is dedicated to the actor Ng Man-Tat, who played one of the main characters in the previous film. In this installment, his character was recreated using computer technology.
