What's left behind the scenes

  • Warner Bros. demanded significant revisions to the already edited film and reduce its duration to 90 minutes, to make the film less intricate but more packed with action scenes. Other films featuring Steven Seagal underwent similar editing – entire scenes and plotlines were cut after final editing. As a result of such editing, inconsistencies appeared in the films.
  • The first film where Steven Seagal wears his hair in a ponytail, which would later become his signature style.
  • Steven Seagal offered the director's chair to Craig R. Baxley. Baxley declined, as he did not want to work with Seagal.
  • At the 66th minute, the heroes are driving in a jeep whose license plate appears on both the left and right sides, and the driver is sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right.
