What's left behind the scenes

  • The film is dedicated to director Lucio Fulci.
  • Shortly before the end of the film, Uncle Sam is shot out of a cannon. For some reason, the filmmakers did not notify the residents of La Verne, where filming took place, about the upcoming explosion. The explosion was heard throughout the city, and concerned residents overwhelmed the police with phone calls. Following this incident, the city council decided never to grant filmmakers permits to film there again.
