What's left behind the scenes

  • About halfway through filming, the project ran into financial difficulties. Several extras were invited to the set in New Orleans and then sent home without pay because the scenes they were in were cut during editing. The management of some stores in New Orleans complained that they received back clothing items worth thousands of dollars that were no longer needed because the scenes in which these items were supposed to be filmed were never shot.
  • At the very beginning of the film, during the opening credits, there is a continuity error. John Travolta's character is walking down the street wearing a boot on his right foot and a slipper on his left. When he reaches the cemetery, the boot and slipper have switched feet.
  • In the scene where the main character is about to leave the trailer, she is wearing shorts. A second later, after she passes through the doorway, she is already wearing jeans.
