Short description
When a motley crew of strangers find themselves trapped in an isolated tavern, they must band together in a battle for survival against a family of flesh-hungry creatures.

What's left behind the scenes

  • The film was made as part of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s Project Greenlight program. At one point, there were even negotiations for them to participate directly in the filming in the roles that were ultimately played by Baltazar Getty and Josh Zuckerman.
  • The role of the Hero, ultimately played by Eric Dane, was initially offered to Mark Wahlberg, but he turned it down. Josh Duhamel also expressed interest in the role, but he was busy with other projects.
  • The original script had many more action scenes, but due to financial considerations, the producers decided to do without them.
  • During the end credits about the Bartender, viewers learn that he has 70 minutes left to live. Approximately 70 minutes later, the Bartender dies.
