What's left behind the scenes
- According to one of the directors, André Bonzel, Ben's close ones had no idea about the plot. They believed they were simply filming Ben, unaware that the footage would later be used in a film where Ben becomes a serial killer. Ben's mother was shocked to learn of his arrest.
- The filmmakers were nervous before filming the rape scene. However, the actresses involved in the scene fully trusted their judgment, and the filming went smoothly. One of the directors and scriptwriters, Rémi Belvaux, experienced the greatest relief.
