Short description
Haley is a naturally gifted athlete but, with her social behavior, the teen seems intent on squandering her abilities. After a final brush with the law, a judge sentences her to an elite gymnastics academy run by a legendary, hard-nosed coach. Once there, Haley's rebellious attitude wins her both friends and enemies.
What's left behind the scenes
- For the final competition scene, the filmmakers engaged a dozen renowned gymnasts from around the world; the main coach-consultant was the famous athlete, two-time Olympic champion Bart Conner, founder of his own academy.
- Three months before filming began, four leading actresses underwent intensive athletic training under the guidance of experienced coaches; the girls practiced gymnastics for 5-6 hours a day, did stretching exercises, and worked with kettlebells; the coaches were tasked with bringing the actresses to an average level of physical fitness in the shortest possible time, and training continued even during filming days.
