Short description
The Djinn having been released from his ancient prison seeks to capture the soul of the woman who discovered him, thereby opening a portal and freeing his fellow Djinn to take over the earth.
What's left behind the scenes
- The surnames of many characters are taken from famous authors of horror and science fiction from the 1950s: Charles Beaumont, Jack Finney, August Derleth.
- In one episode, a guard orders a djinn to leave. The djinn leaves reluctantly, but then the guard says he would happily watch the djinn pass through him as well. The djinn fulfills the request. But this is impossible, as ordinary people are entitled to only one wish. The first wish was granted when the djinn left. Passing through the guard is already the second wish.
