Short description
A human-looking alien from a highly advanced but emotionless all-male society is sent to Earth to impregnate a woman and bring the child back to their planet. The alien ends up falling in love there. A suspicious F.A.A. Agent targets him.
What's left behind the scenes
- Filming took place in Los Angeles (California), Phoenix (Arizona), and Las Vegas (Nevada) and wrapped on August 3, 1999.
- Mike Nichols and Harry Shandling constantly clashed during filming. The director was very irritated by Shandling's desire to fully immerse himself in the role.
- Mike Nichols openly regretted making this film.
