Short description
Two best friends become rivals when their respective weddings are accidentally booked for the same day.

What's left behind the scenes

  • According to the original script, the film was supposed to be a teen comedy, with Emma Roberts (Liv) and Nikki Reed (Emma) in the lead roles. This idea was later abandoned, and the script had to be rewritten.
  • During the scene where gifts are presented to the bride at the wedding, many wives and girlfriends of the then-players of the Boston Red Sox baseball team make cameo appearances.
  • Filming took place from March 31 to June 2008 in New York, Boston, and the small town of Salem, Massachusetts.
  • In the episode where the choreographer sent by Liv teaches Emma and Fletcher to dance, he parodies the choreographer from the film 'Bring It On.' The music from that film also plays at this moment.
  • At the 38th minute of the film, Deb (Emma's bridesmaid) drinks wine from a wide glass. But by the middle of the 39th minute, the glass changes to a narrow one with a long stem. Also, the label on the bottle changes from white to gold. This was an accident - one of the actors threw away the first bottle during filming. It was never found, and he put his own in there.
  • In the episode where the choreographer sent by Liv teaches Emma and Fletcher to dance, he parodies the choreographer from the film 'Bring It On'. The music from that film also plays at this moment.
