What's left behind the scenes

  • Filming took place, among other locations, in central Florida. The lead actor, Wesley Snipes, reached out to students at a school in Orlando, where he himself once studied, and offered them paid extra roles in the film, but only to those students with good grades. A list of such students was compiled, and names from this list were selected randomly. These students played fairgoers in the film, at the fair where Wesley Snipes' character is searching for a criminal.
  • The original script had the entire film taking place at night. It was moved to daytime to save money.
  • In the final fight between the characters of Wesley Snipes and Bruce Payne, the actors themselves performed the stunts, insisting on it despite the producers' objections. The actors were supported by the film's director, Kevin Hooks.
  • At the 27th minute, in the scene of the accompanying agents' murder, the flight attendant is still only aiming her gun at the second FBI agent, yet he already has a bullet wound and traces of blood.
