Short description
When a rare phenomenon gives police officer John Sullivan the chance to speak to his father, 30 years in the past, he takes the opportunity to prevent his dad's tragic death. After his actions inadvertently give rise to a series of brutal murders he and his father must find a way to fix the consequences of altering time.
What's left behind the scenes
- During the filming of the fire scene, Dennis Quaid was injured, requiring 16 stitches on his head (slightly above the hairline).
- In the warehouse fire scene, everyone except Dennis Quaid, Peter MacNicol, and Jordan Bridges are actual firefighters.
- In 1997, Renny Harlin intended to direct this film with Sylvester Stallone in the lead role, but Stallone requested an excessive fee, resulting in neither Harlin nor Stallone being involved in the film's production.
- During filming, Elizabeth Mitchell broke her nose.
- When Jack Shepard pursues Frank Sullivan in events taking place in October 1969, we see a view of Manhattan, and the North Tower of the World Trade Center appears in the frame. The construction of the WTC continued from August 5, 1966, to April 4, 1973, and, obviously, neither tower was completed by 1969.
