What's left behind the scenes

  • Due to the mess left behind after the destruction of Giancarlo's house, the production company was banned from filming in that part of Australia for a long time.
  • The woman who was thrown into the coal pit by Richard Norton at the beginning of the film is his wife in real life.
  • The first woman Jackie fed an omelet to in the food preparation scene at the mall is Sammo’s wife – Mina Hung.
  • Jancarlo's house was built specifically for the film. It cost 1.5 million US dollars.
  • Originally, the film was supposed to be shot in New York. But it turned out that filming in Melbourne (Australia) was more cost-effective.
  • Jackie Chan's best friend, actor and singer Emil Chau, appeared here in an episodic role as an ice cream vendor. This is the second time he has played a similar character. The first time was in 'Rumble in the Bronx' (1995).
  • The New Generation Stunts stunt team participated in the filming. Brad Allan began his career with this stunt group, and it was through them that he started working with Jackie, although he was no longer part of New Generation Stunts at the time.
  • The car driven by Jackie, a 1967 Mustang, has the ability to switch the steering wheel position from left-hand drive to right-hand drive.
  • The truck we see at the end of the film is called a Haulpak. They are used for work in quarries and open-pit mines. One of the wheels of this enormous truck is embedded in the fence of Jackie Chan's office in Hong Kong. The central part is designed in such a way that the panel located there can be changed. By changing the panels, office workers congratulate passersby on various holidays and events. On ordinary days, a color-changing panel with Jackie Chan's logo is inserted into the wheel.
  • Director Sammo Hung also appeared in a cameo role. He played a curious cyclist.
  • The Hong Kong version of the film is 101 minutes long, the American version is 84 minutes.
  • When the brawl between the Demons gang and the Junkarlo group takes place at the beginning of the film in an abandoned warehouse, journalists sitting in hiding on the second floor film it. Later, Jackie's friend, who works in the police, will review the tape filmed by the journalists, but the view will be exactly the same as what was shown, that is, from a third-person perspective, and not what the reporters should have filmed. The tape will even capture the explosion that exposed the unfortunate journalists' hideout, also from a third-person perspective.
  • At the end of the film, specifically in the scene where Jackie tries to climb onto the truck, it is noticeable that his hair is longer than in all other scenes, as this episode was the first one they filmed.
