What's left behind the scenes

  • The portrait in the bunker is a reference to Gerard Johnstone's debut film – the comedy horror "Housebound" (2014).
  • A whole team of stunt performers and a personal trainer worked with Ivanna Sakhno during filming. The actress who played Amelia even studied several martial arts, including Krav Maga (an Israeli self-defense system emphasizing rapid threat neutralization) and Tai Chi (a traditional Chinese martial art).
  • M3GAN requested that her new body be taller than the previous one, as the actress playing her, Amy Donald, had grown noticeably.
  • When Gemma, played by Allison Williams, adjusts the component placement through the open panel in M3GAN's hand, you can notice that this panel is similar in shape, arrangement, and size to the panel on Luke Skywalker's (played by Mark Hamill) mechanical hand in Irvin Kershner’s science fiction film "Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back" (1980).
