Short description
Though coming from a complicated past, Lily Bloom has always known the life she wants. While living in Boston, she meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid and believes she may very well have found her soul mate. Soon, however, questions arise about their relationship, and to complicate matters, her high school love interest, Atlas Corrigan, comes back into the picture, putting her relationship with Ryle in jeopardy.

- Filming began on May 5, 2023, in Hoboken, New Jersey.
- The casting of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in the lead roles sparked outrage among viewers because the characters were 23 and 30 years old in the original novel, while the actors are older. The novel's author, Colleen Hoover, stated that she would have liked to increase the age of the main characters in the film, as she had made them too young in the novel. She didn't realize at the time that it takes 6 to 12 years to train as a neurosurgeon.
