What's left behind the scenes

  • In all the cars the protagonists take, with the exception of the initially rented vehicle, a crushed Red Bull can can be noticed.
  • After Sandy and Diana purchase the car for $200, the scene of their arrival in St. Louis, as they cross the bridge, was actually filmed in downtown Chattanooga, with the tallest buildings of St. Louis added using computer graphics.
  • When Sandy arrives in Miami, Florida, to catch Diana at the salon, the scene begins with an aerial shot of the coastline, then cuts to Sandy waiting in the car. It creates the impression that Winter Park is near Miami, when in reality there is about a 5-hour drive between them.
  • The female member of the villainous couple pursuing the protagonists consistently makes amusing mistakes in her speech. This is a reference to the film 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' (1997), where one of the villains, of Arab nationality, also makes mistakes in his words.
  • When the real Sandy is talking to the bank on the phone, a missing rearview mirror can be noticed. It reappears when he is pulled over and removed from the car.
  • Sandy's tie knot is different in the office scenes and at the very end of the film.
  • When Sandy and Diana jump into the car and drive away from the captors' house, the background changes inconsistently while they are talking and driving.
  • When Sandy stops in the underpass while in Florida, Georgia state road signs are visible. The same signs can be noticed during the car chase scene involving the bounty hunter.
  • When Sandy stops at a gas station in Denver and discovers a problem with his credit card, it is visible that there is a choice of three fuel options (87, 89, and 92). Since Denver is located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, all its gas stations should have fuel 85, 87 and 89.
  • In the beauty salon, the bounty hunter threatens the hairdresser, saying that the blue disinfectant is highly flammable. In reality, Barbacide is not flammable.
  • The appearance of the Georgia patrol car is inaccurate.
  • When Sandy refuels in St. Louis, the meter consistently reads $0.00 and 0 gallons.
  • The female of the villainous couple pursuing the protagonists constantly makes funny mistakes in her speech. This is a reference to the film "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" (1997), where one of the villains, of Arab nationality, also makes speech errors.
