- To prepare for the role, Zhu Yilong gained weight and then lost 25 kg during the 45 days of filming.
- Filming took place in Nanfeng County, Jiangxi Province, from December 19, 2022, to early February 2023.
- Scenes were mostly filmed in chronological order.
- At the 14-minute mark, when the medical examiner examines the body of the murdered old woman, it is clearly visible that the victim is breathing.
