Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- Robin Williams, who played Harp, was originally considered for the role of Roberta, which went to John Lithgow, while Jeff Daniels was the main contender for the role of Harp.
- The mother of screenwriter John Irving was unmarried when he was conceived. He never met his father, and his mother never spoke of him. One day he told her that either she would tell him about his father, or he would invent one himself, along with the circumstances of his conception, to which she replied: “Well, go ahead.” And that's how the script for "Harp's World" was written.
- The house that the plane crashes into was built at the end of the single runway of a tiny airport in Lincoln Park, New Jersey (approximately 56 kilometers from New York). The debris of the destroyed house was not cleared from there for several weeks.
