What's left behind the scenes
- The film was shot in just 3 weeks, almost all filming took place in one house, and nothing or nobody was shot in close-up.
- The on-screen credits are shown in the same font as the credits for Tobe Hooper's horror film 'Poltergeist' (1982).
- There are fewer than 100 clearly defined editing cuts throughout the entire film (referring to shots separating one scene from another). Usually, films have many more. This is due to director Steven Soderbergh's preference for long takes, regardless of whether the mise-en-scène takes place in one room or the camera needs to follow a character into the next.
