What's left behind the scenes

  • During the filming of the fight scene, Jackie was accidentally cut by a sharp sword that was supposed to have a blunt blade. Blood flowed, and Jackie screamed in pain. The director, thinking that this was how it should be, continued filming. We see real blood in the film.
  • Hwang Jang-Lee powerfully knocked out Jackie Chan's tooth. In the final scene, you can clearly see the gap from the missing tooth.
  • The Mexican poster for the film features a photograph of a scene that was removed from the film – 4 fencers fighting against Jackie Chan.
  • In the film's credits, Jackie Chan is listed as Lung Cheng. This is one of his early stage names.
  • The full version of the film has a runtime of 97 minutes.
