Short description
After the mayor of an idyllic island village discovers a child with mysterious powers awash on their shores, the once peaceful community devolves into civil war, torn over the belief that the child is the next saviour.

- The film was primarily shot in the town of Keels in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town had a population of 30, while the film crew numbered around 90-100 people (according to the director). Many local residents appeared on screen in minor roles.
- The film's budget was approximately $9 million. Thanks to the budget size, director Christian Sparks was able to fulfill a long-held dream and organize filming in a remote settlement in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
