The film was initially intended to be titled "Dragonfly Man" for Russian release, but they ultimately settled on "Superheroic Cinema".
Jeffrey Tambor filmed all of his scenes in two days, during a break from shooting with Guillermo del Toro on "Hellboy II: The Golden Army".
Craig Birk is pictured as Wolverine on the poster and is also listed in the credits, but all of his scenes were cut from the film during editing, leaving only a scene with Richard Tillman in the same role.
