Short description
Ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson takes a job as head of security at an elaborate prepper compound, 'The Homestead', as the world crumbles. Inside, they face resource wars and ideological conflicts, while outside, chaos reigns. Amid the mayhem, unity and forgotten truths emerge as love grows in unexpected places and the community strives to cultivate the land and fend off impending destruction.
What's left behind the scenes
- Neil McDonough agreed to the role in this project, in particular because he had the rare opportunity to play a character who wasn't an antagonist.
- In order to immerse themselves more deeply in the atmosphere of the events unfolding in the plot, many of the actors and crew members involved in the film lived during filming as the farmers they were portraying or filming, both on camera and after the shooting day ended.
