Short description
An Afro-American organization, the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D., is in permanent fight against a white organization "The Man" defending the values of the black people in North America. When the Afro-American candidate Gen. Warren Boutwell behaves strangely in his presidential campaign, Undercover Brother is hired to work undercover for "The Man" and find what happened with the potential candidate.
What's left behind the scenes
- The building shown in the film is a water filtration station in one of Toronto's districts. It was also used as a filming location for, among others, John Carpenter's horror film "In the Mouth of Madness" (1994). After the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US, the building was permanently closed to filming.
- On the wall of the character's office, played by Chi McBride, hang photographs, including those of actors Courtney B. Vance, Danny Glover, Andre Braugher, and Richard Pryor.
- Denise Richards stated that her character's buttocks were enhanced using digital technology.
- Jim Kelly appeared in a couple of scenes – he starred in Robert Clouse's action films 'Enter the Dragon' (1973) and 'Black Belt Jones' (1974) – but these scenes were not included in the film and were only preserved on the DVD release.
- For the shooting of the scene where Neil Patrick Harris's character emerges from a van in a cloud of drug smoke, the actor actually smoked a joint.
