What's left behind the scenes
- Gibson's voice-over became unnecessary and was removed.
- The blue color palette of the theatrical version was changed. More color was added, and the film began to resemble a film from the 70s.
- The opening scene, in which Gibson is shot and examined by a doctor, was cut. Other scenes were trimmed or, conversely, added.
- Coburn's role was reduced to a single scene appearance.
