- In keeping with the spirit of the French New Wave (a film movement in France in the late 1950s and 1960s), all the actors in the film are making their debut. For example, this is Guillaume Marbecke’s first feature film, in which he plays Jean-Luc Godard.
- Netflix paid $4 million for the right to release the film in the American market (this is the largest sum ever paid for the right to show a French-language film in the United States).
