Short description
A small West Virginia town is hosting the legendary Mountain Man Festival on Halloween, where throngs of costumed party goers gather for a wild night of music and mischief. But an inbred family of hillbilly cannibals kill the fun when they trick and treat themselves to a group of visiting college students.
What's left behind the scenes
- In a motel room, a group of college students are planning to go to the Mountain Man festival. Julian calculates that 4 tickets at $90 each will cost only $260, not $360.
- Throughout the film, a bracelet is visible on the left hand of the main villain, played by Doug Bradley, but only in one shot, at the 46th minute, after the cannibals' truck runs over Paul Lubke's character, the bracelet appears on his right hand.
- The film was shot in 19 days.
- All driving scenes were shot in one day using a camera mounted on a trailer, which served as a moving platform.
- This is the only film in the franchise that does not depict a death involving barbed wire.
