Short description
In 1977, former real estate developer Tony Kiritsis puts a dead man's switch on himself and the mortgage banker who did him wrong, demanding $5 million and a personal apology.
What's left behind the scenes
- Initially, it was intended that Nicolas Cage would play the role of Tony Kritsis, with Werner Herzog directing the film and filming starting in August 2024. The start of filming had to be postponed to early 2025 when the actor had another project scheduled, and Herzog lost interest in the film upon learning that Cage would not be involved. Bill Skarsgård eventually played Tony, and Gus Van Sant became the director.
