What's left behind the scenes
- Maggie was initially written as white in the script, but director and producer Luca Guadagnino changed the character's race, casting Zendaya for the role. She soon left the project, and Ayo Edebiri was cast as Maggie.
- Andrew Garfield had dreamed of working with Luca Guadagnino for almost 15 years, and was finally offered the role of Hank Gibson in this crime drama.
