Filming of the picture began on August 6, 2002, in Toronto, and ended in early November 2002.
The film was originally titled “Cold Creek Manor.” Then it was decided to rename it “The Devil's Throat.” And only after the final editing was it decided to return to the original title.
Christopher Plummer (1929-2021) spent only two days on the set – one day filming scenes with Dennis Quaid, and the second with Stephen Dorff.
