As Lyla makes her way to her new dorm, her suitcase bursts open, revealing a mysterious note that ominously reads, "This is just the beginning." Initially regretful about her move, her encounter with Sean, which blossoms into romance and eventually sours into a breakup, seems to confirm the message of the note. However, her new friendship with Rachel helps her see New York in a new light.
