Hour Blue

Hour Blue: a story about female friendships. It’s 2003, in New York City, as Natalia, aka Talia, a 20-something, leaves her boyfriend's apartment. Frazzled and upset, she rips up a picture of them together after finding out he’s been unfaithful. She stumbles to the nearest phone booth, where she calls her best friend, Nicolette. Nicolette, another 20-something and Talia’s best friend hears her phone buzz and quickly picks up the call. As she hears the state her friend is in, she directs her to stay put. Nicolette rushes to the phone booth to meet Talia and quickly knows it's her job to make her friend realize how special she is. Instinctively, she drags Talia off her feet and takes her to a mind-clearing waterfront view where they talk, laugh, and listen to music for hours. They end their night in the park bathroom to flush away the memories of yet another disappointing man. They knew they could always rely on each other when life was too overwhelming to handle alone.
