Short description

A saga centered on a multi-generational family of New York City Police officers. The family's moral codes are tested when Ray Tierney, investigates a case that reveals an incendiary police corruption scandal involving his own brother-in-law. What's left behind the scenes

Originally, Colin Farrell was planned to play Ray Tierney, and Edward Norton was to play Jimmy.
In 2001, the lead roles were secured for Mark Wahlberg and Hugh Jackman, however, after the September 11th terrorist attack, the producers decided to postpone the film about corrupt police officers until 2008.
